Sleepless hours of morning light
Flowers fade into innocent light.
And no one knows the feelings we've
In the early morning light.
Dust resettles upon the desk
Of endless htought of where
We've never been; in the
Sleepless hours of morning light.
Mightier days carried with
The flowers of innocents lost
Within a grave, and now
I wonder where my youth has gone;
In the sleepless hours of morning
Miniature lights sparkle through
Falling snow and noew I wonder
Where the headlights go.
Branches push to the ground
And you clutch your coat as
You pass by, in the sleepless hours
Of morning light.
